About the day

Pitt is far more than a university…we are a community, a family for life.

On February 28, 2017, we will come together—students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends—for a special Pitt Day of Giving. We’ll celebrate the University’s founding, the accomplishments of those who have gone before us, and the bright future ahead for today’s students.

And we’ll give generously...out of gratitude for what Pitt has meant to us and with a personal commitment to the next generation of Pitt students. Your donation will go directly to support the world-class education, innovation, and dedication that makes us who we are!

Increasing scholarship support is a key part of Pitt Day of Giving. Scholarship support not only makes attending Pitt possible - it helps to spare graduates from excessive and debilitating debt. Through Pitt Day of Giving, we will join together as a community in support of Pitt students, working to decrease the financial burden they carry as future alumni.

Help us make the Pitt Day of Giving a huge success. You can make your gift now, or wait until the big day. You can also get involved by helping spread the word about this exciting day. We’ll give you all of the tools you need to share your Pitt Pride and invite your friends and family to join in.

Truly, YOU are Pitt...YOU make us strong...YOU will transform lives on February 28, 2017.
